Hyper Island provided us with an arduino (which we from the beginning had no clue of what it was) and a budget of 400 SEK (= €40). The assignment was to create an interactive experience with the given technology.
We created the game Blindspot where your mission is to walk as slow, as fast as possible from one point to another. We used an infrared detector (PIR, passive infrared detector) to detect fast movement. Our biggest challenges in this project was to get the arduino to talk to Flash and vice verca. As the project manager I did all the planning and managed our extreme small budget, which mostly meant trying to get the material we needed for free.
We created, besides from the prototype, a high score and a logotype. The prototype was shown during an exhibition in Stockholm which I also participated in arranging.

We got the idea of Blindspot from a traditional game and turned it into a interactive digital game. The logo is made by Ole Martin Kristiansen.
